Sarah Gomez

Sarah recently completed her third year of job training classes through WE Pro$per and is currently assigned to work at ARF to fulfill her required 100 hours of work experience. She enjoys her play interactions with both dog and cat rescues at the foundation, as well as feeding and helping to reinforce the training the animals receive while waiting for adoption. Sarah assists with calming animals during their veterinary visits and makes sure they all get their fair share of exercise. Of course, there are always the clean-up tasks to be done, and Sarah is quick to get the messy work done so she can get back to loving on all the rescues.

Sarah has always shown an interest in the care of animals, and is able to fulfill this love through both her work as an SWR “Barn Rat” and while on assignment at ARF.

Sarah is a High School Senior and is currently enrolled in several AP classes. She plans on attending Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX in the fall of 2020, where she hopes to obtain degrees in Criminal Justice and Biology.
