Brittany Peters-Spencer

“All Horses in life deserve at least once to be loved by a little girl”.

Brittany Peters was a little girl when we first met her at Stormwalker Ranch.  She still remembers her first Hoofbeats Day Camp and her desire to learn all there was to know about these animals that she loved so much.

Her love for horses became clear within minutes of walking onto the Ranch. As Brittany grew up and completed home school, she worked with Dr. Tom Loafman, our Equine Veterinarian, as an intern. It was evident that she was committed to working with animals.

Brittany went on to be an intern at New Life Ranch working as a Wrangler. Her position as a Wrangler allowed her to combine her love for people and her love for horses. At New Life Ranch, she was given the opportunity to introduce riders of all ages to horses and teach them how to ride. While there, Brittany pursued and received her CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) certification. After successful completion of her internship at New Life Ranch, Brittany returned and joined the SWR team in the Fall of 2019, working in Ranch Operations. Working with Valerie Eshleman, Brittany is learning all that goes into managing the care and training of our 23 equine partners.

Along the way, Brittany has shared her love with her family, her friends, and her community. In this past year, she fell in love, and last weekend, married her soulmate, Cory Spencer. It is a great honor to introduce Brittany Peters Spencer, SWR Ranch Hand and Assistant Trainer.  Join us in welcoming Brittany to our team and congratulate her on her new life with Cory!
